Valē: (“be well, goodbye”)

The first game to be put out by our little group: BerryGood Games!

This game was made as a submission to Brackeys Game Jam 2023.1 under the theme "An End is a New Beginning"  Thank you for taking the time to check it out, and feel to give it a rating!


Story:

Vale is a short narrative story set in an abstract representation of the afterlife, where you delve into a memory of a life nearly forgotten.  Uncover the bittersweet recollections of the household who have left this world, only to discover something new.

Controls:

• E to interact with notebooks
• C to close notes
• Esc to leave the game

Known Bugs and Future Fixes:

• The "x" displayed on the note pages is currently broken, but hitting C on your keyboard will still close the notes properly!  Currently addressing.
• Frames drop inside the house- this is will be addressed in version 1.1
• Game closes suddenly at the end (Note: this is intentional, but is being reworked in 1.1 for a smoother experience)
